Last week

Got to the gym on Tues, Thurs, AND Sat. Determined to at least try to meet the 10 lb weight loss challenge I signed up for (besides, I want my $10 back!). Will see if I've made any progress on Thursday of this week.

If anything, I'm trying to be more careful about what I eat in addition to working out more (goodbye chocolate candy snacks - for the most part . . .). If I can keep this up for a month, I know these will turn into good everyday habits for me. Here's to healthy success!


  1. You know, Yolanda, your $10 wager is making me so tempted to go ahead and bet my brother I can lose 10 lbs. before he can. He's a guy and taller, so I'd probably lose, but you make it sound like fun!

  2. My mom and aunt are twins and best friends. They used to use wagers to help lose weight- what a great motivator!

  3. While I don't consider myself a competitive person, this weight loss challenge has really been a great motivator for me. I take it as a personal challenge, and I know that if I can make it through, I can develop some healthier habits that will benefit the whole family. It's a win win!
